As I mentioned “Maintenance record”, rust on the front fork inner tube can be a hassle.
If the plating is broken even a little, the only thing you can do is slow down the progress. (Except for re-plating.)
I chose this rust converter to slow the progression of such rust as much as possible.
The key point is that it does not remove rust, but chemically converts it.
When we think of rust, we have the image of applying rust remover or frantically scrubbing to remove it.

- Liquid and easy to work with, easy to apply in crevices.
- Good for a unique glossy finish!
- Best of all, it’s cheap!
- It’s been 11 years since I bought it and it still works!
2) Unsatisfied points
- I didn’t know that the brush could be washed in water and let it cure (It is my problem).
4. Summary
When the front fork inner tube rusts, the following can be done.
- Replace it with a new one
- Re-plating
However, both of these are pricey hurdles.
That said, rust will only spread if left untreated, so one way to slow down the progression is to use this rust converter.
