1. About Owner’s Manual

The owner’s manual is the instruction manual that comes with your moto when you buy new one.
In case of YZF-R125 (5D7),

Moto sold by Presto which was Yamaha moto’s importer…It seemed to have come with a Japanese-language version.
Parallel imported moto… Probably it came with a foreign language version such as English.

On the other hand, without the owner’s manual, it is not possible to check the following immediately.

How many liters of petrol are shown in the fuel level warning light?
How do I set the meter unit?
What is the tire pressure?

In this time, as I downloaded the English version of the owner’s manual, I will show you how to do this.
If you have purchased a used moto or a moto from a private seller, you might not have it. I hope you will watch this article as a reference to check.
(You can also obtain the owner’s manual for other models which are sold by Yamaha Europe).

2. Download Owner’s Manual (STEP 1-7)

At first, you open the English version of the Yamaha Motor Europe website.

You click ‘Service & Maintenance’ and click ‘Owner’s Manuals’.

Contents of Owner’s Manual

Some of the contents of the description are the following.

How to set the display contents, time and other settings of the digital meter.
How to remove and install the exterior (Actually, the order of removal is not quite right…)
Frequency of inspection and replacement of parts. (from page 45 onwards)

Unfortunately, there was no description of how to replace brake pads, but basic maintenance is covered.
Even the tightening torques for the front and rear axles are described, so you can remove the wheels.
