Profile

Thank you for reading this blog.
I’m (Green)^2 and I feel happy riding, touching and looking at my Yamaha YZF-R125 (Model: 5D7W).

It has been more than 30 years since I started riding motorbikes, but I am fascinated by them and enjoy them without getting tired of them.

How I started my blog

The Yamaha YZF-R125 is manufactured by “MBK industrie”, a subsidiary of Yamaha, and sales began in 2008, mainly in the European market.
At the time, it was imported to Japan, but due to its high price and it was not handled by authorized Yamaha dealers.
So, it is a rare moto in Japan, especially the later models (2014 onwards), which are by far the fewest in number.

Then, I started this website to make contact with users all of the world, and also to provide information on products and maintenance information that is unique to Japan.

Contents of this blog

This blog will be a record of the actual work I have done and how I did it and what I think of it.
As I am not a mechanic, there are many things I get wrong and fail to do, but I will include them in my transmission.

When I create an article, I write it with the following in mind

  • Explanations of specific working methods
  • Explanations of points and structures that are easy to mistake
  • How to prevent injury and damage to the bike.
  • Presentation of the tools used, working time and costs incurred.

The degree of difficulty of the work will be defined in five levels, and I will think about the definition from now on, but I hope you will use it as a reference when you maintain or tune your own moto.

What you will gain from this blog

Through this blog, I hope to help you.

  • It will help you to decide whether you want to do the maintenance yourself or ask a shop to do it for you.
  • If you do the maintenance yourself, you will understand the work methods and products and be able to work safely and efficiently.
  • If you choose to have your vehicle serviced by a shop, you will be able to visualize the work to be carried out and understand the costs involved.
  • Become interested in maintenance and want to tinker with it.

So, it would be great to see this not only for those who do their own maintenance, but also for those who take theirs out to the shop.
